We are revising our website. It’s a big deal. Lots of discussion. Lot’s of issues. But we’re there, we have the message, we have the characters, we have the pricing. We know who we are, and what we want to say. Now we need some help designing the look and building the site.
What to do? Friends all have friends who know ‘The Best’ web designer ever… and of course there are boutique shops that will build the most awesome site for $$$$. And of course there’s the latest alphabet soup of frameworks and tools and scripting languages. And then the phone rings, and somehow the Indians have discovered that we are looking for a web site. Oh My! VOIP is cheap, but you get what you pay for, and I’m quite sure that her name is not really ‘Betty’, and they won’t stop calling. I can’t bring myself to trust the promises, and I can’t figure out how to make them stop calling.
