Click – Bill Tancer

I just finished Bill Tancer’s book ‘Click’ published by Hyperion 2008. It’s a great read, and a facinating story of what the clicks tell us about ourselves. I strongly reccomend it, and check out his blog (linked now at the side here).

In the acknowledgements, Bill talks about his love of books. They are every where in his house, stacks and piles and shelves full.

And, he acknowledges that the process of writing ‘Click’ enlightentened him to the fact that he had taken for granted the process and people required to make a book.

Thank you to Bill Tancer. I loved his book. I love his topic; the research, the insight, and the study of human behavior.

And, I love the fact that he recognizes the contribution of all of the talented people that it took to make that book.

I built Appingo to enable, empower, and celebrate all of those people, and all of those skills required to make great books.

Thanks, Bill.

  • I just finished Click also, a very good read, that I thought built up steam as the book went along. In fact I thought it could have been longer, and maybe taken on some subjects like how internet searches reflect political decisions and maybe if possible been more specific how clients used the search data to shape their marketing strategy. However, the book’s focus on what the internet searches tell us (the USA) about ourselves is very interesting, I would recommend this book to anyone interested in how our culture is changing, and the role of the internet in those changes.
